Paint Creek State Park Cabins

Reserve a Cabin or a Yurt

Two Deluxe Camper Cabins are available

  • Available April through the 1st weekend in December
  • 14′ x 20′ single room floor space with an exterior porch
  • Each unit sleeps up to 4 on a full-size bed and 2 bunk beds
  • Each unit has A/C, TV with DVD/VCR player, microwave, refrigerator, and gas fireplace (seasonal use only)
  • Gas grill, fire ring and picnic table located outside the unit
  • Pets are not permitted in the camper cabins or the yurt
  • Daily housekeeping service is NOT provided
  • Linens, towels, cooking and eating utensils are NOT provided
  • Units are located near the campground restroom facilities

Paint Creek State Park Yurts

One yurt is available.

  • Round canvas structure on a wooden platform, with a wooden lattice framework and canvas roof with a dome skylight
  • Available May 15 through October 31
  • Unit sleeps up to 4 on 2 full-size futons
  • Includes a mini-fridge, microwave, and table with chairs
  • Gas grill, fire ring and picnic table located outside the unit
  • Pets are not permitted in the camper cabins or the yurt
  • Daily housekeeping service is NOT provided
  • Linens, towels, cooking and eating utensils are NOT provided
  • Unit is located near the campground restroom facilities

  • 183 electric sites
  • 14 premium electric sites
  • The campground features hot showers, flush toilets, laundry facilities and a dump station
  • Camp office loans games and sports equipment to registered campers
  • Camp area also features basketball, volleyball and horseshoe courts
  • All sites are pet-friendly
  • A primitive horseman’s camp is available for riders who bring their own mounts

Four hiking trails traverse the park.

Paint Creek Bridle Trails

An additional 18.2 miles of bridle trails are available.’

Paint Creek Mountain Biking Trails

Twelve miles of mountain biking trails also allow hiking. Three-mile and 5-mile trails on the north loop offer challenging terrain through the wooded hillside and an optional section of single-track trail. The South loop, with 4- and 6-mile options, winds through meadows and woodlands, with excellent views of Paint Creek Lake.
